The seventh edition of the Sharjah Entrepreneurship Festival (SEF), the UAE’s premier celebration of entrepreneurship, is scheduled for February 3-4, 2024, at the Sharjah Research, Technology, and Innovation Park. Themed “Our Shared Canvas,” the event aims to unite visionary founders, industry leaders, investors, and emerging entrepreneurs across five zones and four stages, hosting over 200 activities. Focused on technology, creative economy, and sustainability, SEF 2024 will provide a dynamic platform for networking and innovation.
Distinguished speakers include HRH Faisal Bin Bandar Bin Sultan Al Saud, Mohamed Alabbar of Emaar Properties, and Chris Barton, co-founder of Shazam. Organized by Sharjah Entrepreneurship Center (Sheraa), the festival emphasizes collaborative innovation and collective impact. The event’s five zones and four stages feature specialized ecosystems, workshops, and 100+ exhibiting startups, fostering transformative ideas.
The Impact Stage, powered by Arada, hosts the opening ceremony and showcases entrepreneurs’ societal contributions. Startup Town, powered by Emaar, features exhibiting startups, the Sharjah Pavilion, Investors Lounge, and the Founder Stage with discussions on advanced tech and AI. The Sustainability Zone, powered by Sharjah Sustainable City and BEEAH Group, focuses on environmental activities, while the Creative Zone offers live entertainment on the Creative Stage.
The Community Zone, featuring a Community Stage, encourages collaboration within the regional entrepreneurial community. The Souq Zone serves as a market space for relaxation, culinary experiences, and supporting startups. SEF 2024 aims to be an immersive and empowering experience, embodying the diverse strokes of individual and collective efforts in creating a sustainable entrepreneurship ecosystem.
